Our Team

Dr. Ken Donovan

Dr. D graduated from Kean university with his bachelor’s degree with a concentration in exercise physiology. He then spent the next year and a half studying cardiac rehab before attending Life University, where he acquired the degree of chiropractic. During this time, he also became certified in physical therapeutics and X-ray diagnostics.

in 1996, Atlantic Rehab was born; Dr. D and Dr. White built a clinic that values each and every single patient, dedicated to not only getting their patients healthy but also keeping them healthy. Doctor D has a passion for creating long-term solutions to patient health. He has worked with a broad population, successfully treating more than 500 patients throughout his time at Atlantic Rehab.

In his free time, Dr. D enjoys spending time with his family—Dr. Kathleen White; his son, Keegan; and his daughter, Keileigh. When he's not at work, you may catch him at the beach, playing soccer, or at the ice rink.

Dr. Kathleen White

Dr. Kathleen White graduated from Lynchburg College with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and then continued her education at Life University, achieving her doctorate degree in chiropractic in 1996. Shortly after, she opened the Atlantic Rehab and Wellness clinic with her husband, Dr. Donovan.

Dr. White practiced chiropractic treatment within the clinic for more than a decade, successfully treating hundreds of patients. She now is the chief administrator for the clinic as well as the dry needling specialist for Atlantic Rehab. For 28 years, Dr. White has ensured spectacular clinic operations and patient care. When she is not working at the clinic, Dr. White is often on the road with her daughter, Keileigh, traveling all over the U.S. for Keileigh's ice hockey tournaments

Maddy Muller-Hughes

After being recruited from Perth, Australia, Maddy attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington to study and compete on the UNCW women's tennis team. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, concentrating in exercise physiology and then continued her education at UNCW to acquire her master’s degree in applied gerontology.

Maddy has had a passion for health and wellness ever since she can remember. Her strong sporting background and competitive tennis history inspired her to pursue a career in the health
